PANOS -Fake Roadsigns

These free-roaming art installations (attached to streetside poles around the French community of Lyon, and just similar enough to real traffic signs to create that second glance). Ponder; what it would be like to live in a world in which real street signs included, for instance, a beaver on a skateboard wielding a baseball bat.
It's all a little strange. They have generated a lot of press and it's a great example of how art can be interesting and self promoting.
